Many Independent Artists make the assumption that management is their booking agent. Well, today we are here to clear that myth. The booking agent is a 3rd party that works hand in hand with management to secure you bookings and exposure.

How do you get an agent? Well, there are many ways to approach this issue. With a knowledgeable a manager, you might find it much easier to get that agent. In this business connections are a help. Cold calling agents or botique agencies is normally what many managers find themselves doing. They present your package (inclusive of pictures, bio and music) to the agent. It's reviewed and sometimes the agent will have you come in to take a closer look at you the artist.

Remember, you are representing his company and the product he sells, "YOU."

Our suggestion is to get your page together. Have your music uploaded, a bio ready on your page and if you have video footage; have it uploaded. Spend this next few weeks getting yourself and your presentation ready.
