- Singer, songwriter, poet,
a distinct soothing vocal style, with a dynamic range. The end product of many influences, most predominant of which are soul-jazz. With her Canadian Urban Music nomination of Best Songwriter and Best Spoken Word for her track "Selah," she also moved up the Bravo charts to #18 for the video. Sharon has traveled the world though her music, with the likes of Cortney Pine and Julian Joseph, opening for acts like Herbie Hancock. She's written Top 10 Pop hits like "Fascinating Rhythm," and "Ease on by," with Producer, William Orbit, who won the grammy for "Ray of Light." She has been compared to stars such as Macy Gray, Angie Stone and Jill Scott. With her unique sultry voice, and a passion for people and song, she's usually accompanied by a sensational 4 piece band, that grooves with folk-rock and funk-jazz rhythms.
